College Essay Writing Workshop: Humanities

We are now opening registration for our first writing workshop!

In this workshop, students will understand the expectations of writing a college essay in a UK university. British secondary students (juniors and seniors in the US) get a lot of practice writing in their final years if they have chosen to study the humanities, which include subjects like history, literature, philosophy, classics, politics, and languages. This means that the expectations are high for incoming students to be able to articulate, argue, and structure a coherent essay.

Over the course of two and a half hours, you will learn the essentials of good essay writing, making you both a better student and researcher. This class is convened by an instructor with either a doctorate or a doctoral student with experience teaching seminars and grading assessments. Spaces are limited. The cost to attend is $65.
